The free to use and searchable Langenscheidt dictionary app has a selection of basic words in German and Italian. The app is the best dictionary available on Google Play. It has a very clear and easy to use interface. It is very fast and has the advantage of being able to search in either direction (Italian or German) with a quick search.
When searching, there is the possibility of using the voice recognition function which is very useful when you are not sure how an Italian or German word is pronounced.
This is how the app works:
You select the language you want to translate. This can be done by using the menu on the left side of the screen or by using the button on the right side of the screen. You can also use the dictionary option which is found in the main menu.
After this, you will be able to choose the words that you want to translate. You will be able to use the function of reading aloud or the voice recognition function.
After this, you will have the option of saving the words that you have translated.
The words that you have saved will be shown in the history section of the menu.
